One of three locations controlled by The Museum of Contemporary Art, MOCA Pacific Design Center is a smaller exhibition space featuring rotating artwork and selections from MOCA's permanent collection. Established in 2001, the space displays contemporary and modern artwork by emerging and established artists in the fields of architecture, design and photography. It is located in the mammoth 14-acre Pacific Design Center complex, which also contains furniture and design showrooms, restaurants, meeting spaces and a theater.
